On the shores of Carlingford Lough, the Rostrevor Mountain Bike Trails offer some challenging mountain biking where efforts are rewarded with incredible coastal views and exhilarating singletrack descents.

With a mouth watering 27km red trail and a hair raising 19km black trail Rostrevor is believed by many to be the top spot for mountain biking in Ireland. These trails are also open 24 hours a day and totally free to ride.

When you add not just one but two purpose-built downhill trails to the mix, there’s no denying it… Rostrevor is a mountain bikers’ haven!

Getting There

Located approximately 46 miles from Belfast, 75 miles from Dublin, the Rostrevor Mountain Bike Trails can be found on the Shore Road between Rostrevor and Kilkeel.

The trailhead is only half a mile outside Rostrevor village; signposted Rostrevor Forest/Kilbroney Park.

Also known as the Cnocnafeola Centre, our centre rests in the tranquil surroundings of Atticall. This purpose built budget/guest accommodation centre has a number of ensuite bedrooms including double, twin and shared rooms.

After a day of biking you can relax and unwind in the large spacious lounge area with comfy chairs, television, games and a selection of books. Within the lounge area there is a fully equipped kitchen for use by all residents. Groups also have the option to have their meals catered for in the restaurant. Other facilities include free WiFi, secure parking, drying room and laundry facilities.
